Airbourne Set List:  Ready To Rock, Too Much, Chewin, Rivalry, Girls In Black, Cheap Wine, Breaking Out, No Way, Stand Up, Live It Up, Runnin Wild

Aussie Rockers Airbourne have 13 years of rock n roll under their collective belts.  With the release of their 3rd full length record “Breakin’ Outta Hell” the band jaunted off on a world tour which featured a stop in Baltimore on October 14, 2016.

Joel O’Keeffe is the rock n roll equivalence of The Nutty Professor meets James Hetfield with his quirky facial expressions, non stop movement, white Gibson Explorer, and impressive showmanship.

Airbourne’s onstage audio levels were insanely loud yet the band sounded clear as a bell.

Airbourne took the stage at 9:45 PM and the entire show was done before 11 PM.  The crowd was all about rock n roll and it was nice to see a band that played 100% live onstage with NO samples or backing tracks.

The overall simplicity of Airbourne is what makes them amazing.  Musically Airbourne are a modern day version of AC/DC and during the bands encore they tossed out 2 AC/DC excerpts before ending their set.

“Too Much” sounded amazing, “No Way” was perfection, and “Runnin’ Wild” was the perfect show closer.

If you get the chance to see Airbourne in concert I can’t stress enough how amazing they are; their live show is a beer swilling, sweat soaked, treble charged shot of adrenaline to the ear holes.
