Frozen Harbor 2020

Power Plant Live!

Baltimore, MD

Started in 2014, the yearly “Frozen Harbor” festival in downtown Baltimore ran for two nights on February 28 & 29th in 2020.  The Saturday night show culminated with headlining sets from Reel Big Fish at Rams Head Live, Crobot at Angel’s Rock Bar, and Charm City Devils at Tin Roof as the featured attractions.

Like Machines were direct support for Crobot at Angel’s Rock Bar and their crunchy hard rock performance was much appreciated by the audience in attendance.  The issue with this festival was the overlapping sets which caused fans to miss portions of each set if they tried to catch pieces of each bands performance.

Like Machines are a three piece power trio and their sound mix was loud while their performance was strong.  This was the last show for the Like Machines / Crobot tour and Like Machines thanked Crobot for taking them on the road just before they ended their set.

Charm City Devils started their set midway through Like Machine’s set on the tiny stage area inside Tin Roof.  The venue was jam packed with old school rocker’s showing CCD singer John Allen and company love.

Crobot brought the house down with a jaw dropping set upstairs at Angel’s Rock Bar that featured an interesting cover of “Man on the Silver Mountain” as well as a partial cover of “Africa” by Toto.  Crobot are an amazing live band with an emphasis on having fun and entertaining the crowd.  The band interacted with the crowd as if they were all old friends and once their set ended most of the crowd began to disburse.  Coal closed Tin Roof with an energetic set that ended Frozen Harbor 2020 on an upbeat note!
